HOW DO I JOIN?

WHAT'S THE TIME COMMITMENT?
We like to call Penn Dems a “choose your own adventure” club. So there is no attendance requirement to be a member. We offer many different events, including voter outreach, speaker events, membership activities, and canvassing trips. This lets members pick and choose which events they want to attend, depending on their schedules and interests!
For the nuts and bolts, we typically hold 2 or 3 events a week that last around an hour each. For a more specific breakdown of our upcoming events, add our google calendar here.
We do strongly recommend that Deputy Board members block out every other Wednesday at 8pm to come to our DBMs to keep up to date with what we’re working on!
WHEN DO YOU MEET?
Our Deputy Board Meetings are every other Wednesday at 8pm! We also hold frequent events throughout the week, including tabling, speaker series, and membership activities!
HOW CAN I GET EVEN MORE INVOLVED?
Great question! Early in the semester, we offer the opportunity to apply to be a member of our ‘Senior Deputy Board’ where you will work directly with one of the executive board members on their projects. This is a higher commitment than a deputy board member, but also offers more opportunities to get involved with planning Penn Dems’ events.
