AIDAN CARROLL
PRESIDENT | EMAIL
Aidan is a junior in the College, majoring in Political Science and minoring in Urban Studies from Washington, D.C. He is passionate about gun control, transit policy, and public safety. In 2024, Aidan worked on the Angela Alsobrooks U.S. Senate Campaign and for the Maryland Democratic Party’s Coordinated Campaign. This year, he’s looking forward to energizing the Penn community about our competitive congressional primary in the Spring and the critical midterm elections in the Fall. Aidan also serves as the Political Director for the Pennsylvania College Democrats and as a Committee Person representing the 21st Division in the 27th Ward for the Philadelphia Democratic Party. At Penn, he serves as the Speaker of the Undergraduate Assembly. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, especially his favorite soccer teams, D.C. United, Everton, and the USMNT.
TEJAS BHATIA
VICE PRESIDENT | EMAIL
Tejas is a second-year student from the suburbs Dallas, Texas studying Political Science, Legal Studies, and Data Science on the pre-law track. He is most passionate about immigration reform, gun control, and criminal justice reform. As Vice President for a second term, Tejas looks for guest speaker events and promoting progressive activism within Penn Dems through partnering with national and local activist groups. Moreover, Tejas looks forward to collaborating with the rest of the executive board to help elect Democrats in the 2026 elections. Outside of Penn Dems, Tejas is on UPMUNC Board, a Policy Consultant for Wharton Undegraduates for Public Policy, and involved with the Penn Program on Opinion Research and Election Studies (PORES).
CAROLINE BAKER
POLITICAL DIRECTOR | EMAIL
Caroline is a sophomore from Annapolis, Maryland studying Architecture with minors in Urban Studies and Survey Research & Data Analytics. She is passionate about gun control, voter protection, and climate justice advocacy. As Political Director, she is looking forward to mobilizing the Penn and West Philadlephia community in the midterm elections, as well as supporting battleground campaigns throughout Pennsylvania, especially through voter registration and canvassing efforts. In her free time, Caroline loves watching all Philly sports, trying a new cookie recipe, and playing basketball and football.
DANIELLE KANTER
LEGISLATIVE DIRECTOR | EMAIL
Danielle is a sophomore from Connecticut studying economics and political science. She is passionate about gun control, educational equity, and protecting reproductive rights. As Legislative Director, she is excited to foster constructive discussions with politicians, government officials, and local advocacy groups. Outside of Dems, she enjoys running, hanging out with friends, and spending time on the beach.
BRADY WOODHOUSE

Brady is a first-year student studying Economics in the college. He is passionate about health care policy, education policy, and protecting against voter discrimination. As Membership Director, Brady is excited to strengthen the Dems community he has come to love, and to grow membership with events and workshops that make everyone feel welcome. Outside of Democrats, Brady is in Penn Policy Consulting, SPEC Connaissance, and the Ski Team. In his free time, Brady loves finding new music, checking out thrift stores, and, most of all, spending quality time with his friends. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!
SAMARA LAKS
COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR | EMAIL
Samara is a sophomore from Irvington, New York. She studies international relations, with a minor in Law & Society. She is passionate about education reform, economic equity, food insecurity, and reproductive rights. As Comms Director, Samara is excited to coordinate Dems’ messaging across platforms, and strengthen our outreach to diverse groups. She hopes to build meaningful connections with local Philly political groups, and make Instagram reels cool again. Outside of Dems, Samara is involved with the Penn Soup Kitchen, International Affairs Association, and Hillel. In her free time, she likes to play the NYT Spelling Bee, explore Philly, and cook dinner for her friends.
KAREN WAMBIA
DIVERSITY AND COALITIONS DIRECTOR | EMAIL
Karen is a first-year student from Rockville, MD, majoring in Health & Societies and Political Science. She is passionate about accessible healthcare and education, reproductive rights, and affordable housing. As Diversity and Coalitions Director, Karen is excited to connect Dems with volunteer organizations and affinity groups both on and off campus. She hopes to reach and register as many minority Penn students as possible leading up to the 2026 midterms. Outside of Dems, she is involved with the West Philadelphia Tutoring Project and Penn’s Frontotemporal Degeneration Center. She loves reading, baking, and watching “The Great British Bake-Off.”

Alex is a freshman from Charlottesville, Virginia, studying Nursing. She is passionate about reproductive rights, climate change, and gun control. As treasurer, Alex is excited to work along the executive team to continue to get students engaged and raise funds to progress Penn Dems mission. Outside of Dems, Alex is involved in Camp Kesem, SNUGS (Special Needs Undergraduate Swim Lessons), and Colleges Against Cancer. In her free time, she enjoys cheering on the Quakers, being in nature, and eating Kiwi.
OLIVIA CHARLTON

Olivia is a freshman from Brooklyn, New York, studying Biology on a Pre-Med track. She is passionate about reproductive freedom, healthcare equity and climate change. As Secretary, Olivia is looking forward to help mobilize students on campus as well as engaging with alumni as midterms approach. Outside of Dems, Olivia is a part of MERT (Medical Emergency Response Team) and Colleges against Cancer, and enjoys being outdoors, watching Survivor, reading, and exploring Philly.
